» World Bank - assisted study for the Water Resources Development Project, Philippines, designed to assist the National Irrigation Administration (NIA) strengthen its technical capability through the introduction of improved methodologies and procedures in the fields of irrigation investment programming and monitoring, design of irrigation water control structures and sediment excluders, hydrological assessment, environmental assessment and catchment management, equipment fleet management, financial management information system and the National Water Resources Board in the field of water resources planning and allocation.
» Asian Development Bank (ADB) technical assistance for the feasibility study of the Second Irrigation Systems Improvement Project, Leyte Island for the National Irrigation Administration of the Philippines. The project is envisioned to rehabilitate and upgrade the physical facilities of nine systems covering about 22,000 ha and increase productivity through an agricultural and institutional development package, watershed management and environmental protection.
» ADB technical assistance for the Water Resource Management study for the Angat Reservoir of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System for Metro Manila water supply and assist the National Water Resources Board of the Philippines in allocating and regulating utilization of reservoir storage water resources among the conflicting users, Metropolitan Manila area water supply, NIA's irrigation uses and NPC's hydropower generation requirements.
» OECF (now JBIC) – assisted Agrarian Reform Infrastructure Support Project, Phase 1 of the Department of Agrarian Reform, Philippines: Detailed design, construction supervision and O&M activities for the implementation of 96 farmer-managed communal irrigation schemes nationwide, more than 360 km of farm-to-market roads, post harvest facilities in the irrigation systems, institutional development for farmers’ participation in O&M responsibilities.
» Detailed design of the OECF-assisted Bohol Irrigation Project, Phase 2, of the NIA in the province of Bohol, Philippines, for the construction of irrigation and drainage facilities for 4,140 ha and optimizing the utilization of water resources from three storage dam and reservoir schemes including supply to two other existing irrigation systems serving 6,100 ha.
